Treatment Options

Though some warts may eventually disappear on their own, this can often take months – or years. Moreover, all warts are considered a mother wart which means they can spread to other parts of your body. It is therefore recommended to seek treatment from your doctor as soon as the wart appears.

At Podiatry Healthcare Group, we utilise the GenesisPlus laser for the treatment of warts. Completely safe and clinically proven to be an effective treatment option, the GenesisPlus laser works by using laser light to target the pigment within the blood supply to the wart to kill the HPV virus. Treatments are typically painless and last only a few minutes.

The number of treatments necessary will largely depend on the size and placement of the wart, however, most patients tend to see results between 2 to 4 sessions.
